Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using VoxForge ("the Service"), operated by VoxForge ("we", "us", "our") at voxforge.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Account Terms

• You must be at least 18 years old to use VoxForge.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Credit System and Billing

VoxForge operates on a credit-based system. Credits are consumed when you generate audio through any supported TTS provider.

• Credits are allocated monthly based on your subscription plan and reset each billing cycle.
• Unused credits do not roll over to the next billing period unless stated otherwise in your plan.
• Additional credit packs may be purchased as one-time add-ons.
• Refunds for unused credits are not provided unless required by applicable law.
• All audio generation is billed through VoxForge credits at a rate of 1 credit = $0.01, with no additional fees or hidden markup.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days advance notice to active subscribers.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use VoxForge to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Create deepfake audio intended to deceive, defraud, or mislead others.
• Generate audio that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the platform.
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable usage.
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to VoxForge without written permission.

Intellectual Property Rights

The VoxForge platform, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by VoxForge and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our written consent.

Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the text scripts and content you upload to VoxForge. Audio generated through the Service is yours to use, subject to the following:

• Generated audio may be subject to the usage terms of the underlying TTS provider (ElevenLabs, OpenAI, Sarvam AI, Hume AI, etc.).
• You are responsible for ensuring your use of generated audio complies with applicable provider terms and licensing requirements.
• VoxForge does not claim ownership of your generated content but retains the right to use anonymized, aggregated usage data to improve the Service.

Third-Party Providers

VoxForge integrates with third-party TTS providers. We do not control and are not responsible for the availability, quality, or policies of these providers. Your use of provider services through VoxForge is also subject to their respective terms of service.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned downtime.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoxForge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to VoxForge in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
